The showing of the Stanley Kubrick film 2001 A Space Odyssey with its soundtrack performed live by the Gulbenkian Orchestra conducted by the maestro Robert Ziegler represents another unmissable moment on this year's Gulbenkian Music programme. The film's soundtrack includes landmark works from the classical repertoire of Johann and Richard Strauss and Gyorgy Ligeti.
Dia Internacional dos Museus

Um dia de festa com muitas visitas guiadas a lembrar a vida do colecionador, bem como vários aspetos das coleções do Museu Gulbenkian e do Centro de Arte Moderna. Temas como Lalique e a Natureza, a Pintura de Paisagem na Coleção Gulbenkian,e alguns núcleos do Museu e do CAM estarão em destaque.
International Museum Day

A day of festivities, packed with guided tours in memory of the life of the collector as well as various other facets to the Gulbenkian Museum and CAM – the Centre of Modern Art collections. Themes such as Lalique and Nature, Landscape Painting in the Gulbenkian Collection with some of the other Museum and CAM specialist fields also placed under the spotlight.
Dia da Biodiversidade

O Dia da Biodiversidade vai ter uma celebração especial no Jardim Gulbenkian e no Centro Interpretativo Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles. A fauna e a flora do Jardim Gulbenkian, as suas plantas aromáticas e medicinais, identificação de aves através do canto, contos nos jardins e ainda um encontro de Urban Sketchers são algumas das atividades programadas.
Biodiversity Day

Biodiversity Day gets its own special celebration in the Gulbenkian Garden and in the Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles Interpretative Centre. The fauna and flora in the Gulbenkian Garden, its aromatic and medicinal plants, the identification of birds through their songs, storytelling in the gardens and as well as a meeting of Urban Sketchers feature among the planned activities.
Rising Stars
Este festival de jovens estrelas apresenta 16 intérpretes, distribuídos por sete concertos, com um reportório variado que se estende ao jazz. Os músicos foram escolhidos pelos diretores artísticos da European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), rede que associa as principais salas de concerto europeias e que conta com a Fundação Gulbenkian e a Casa da Música entre os seus membros.
Rising Stars
This festival of young stars presents 16 musicians across seven concerts featuring a varied repertoire that extends to jazz. The performers were all chosen by the artistic directors of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), a network that interlinks the main European concert venues and that counts upon both the Gulbenkian Foundation and the House of Music among its members.

A pretexto do duplo aniversário da publicação de O Engenhoso Fidalgo D. Quixote de la Mancha (celebram-se 410 anos da edição da primeira parte da obra e 400 anos da segunda), o Museu Calouste Gulbenkian vai mostrar dois exemplares de referência da obra-prima de Miguel de Cervantes adquiridos por Calouste Gulbenkian, habitualmente mantidos nas reservas do Museu.
Don Quixote 1605 / 1615

On the pretext of the double anniversary of the publication of The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of la Mancha (celebrating the 410th anniversary of the publication of the first section of the work and the 400th of the final section), the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum is placing on display two examples of this masterpiece by Miguel de Cervantes, personally acquired by Calouste Gulbenkian and normally kept in the Museum's reserve collections.
3º Fórum Portugal-Alemanha
A 27 e 28 de maio realiza-se o 3º Fórum Portugal-Alemanha, organizado pela Fundação Gulbenkian, pelo Instituto de Política Europeia de Berlim e pelo Instituto Português para as Relações Internacionais. O Fórum tem como objetivo contribuir para o estreitamento das relações entre os dois países ao nível político, económico, social e cultural, fomentando a confiança mútua e combatendo estereótipos. A primeira edição deste Fórum bilateral teve lugar em Lisboa em 2013.
3rd Portugal-Germany Forum
The 3rd Portugal-Germany Forum takes place on 27th and 28th May and organised by the Gulbenkian Foundation, the Berlin Institute of European Politics and by the Portuguese Institute for International Relations. The Forum's objective is to contribute towards deepening relations between the two countries across the political, economic, social and cultural fields fostering mutual confidence and countering stereotypes. The first edition of this bilateral Forum was held in Lisbon in 2013.

The potentialities and the achievements of these three contemporary cultural literary genres in the culture prevailing falls under debate in a cycle of three sessions organised by Next Future and bringing together authors from Latin America, Africa and Europe. Participants include Posy Simmonds (United Kingdom), Anton Kannemeyer (South Africa) and Claudia Piñeiro (Argentina), among others.
